Detailed Itinerary

Hotel Pickup in Cusco: We’ll start early with a pickup from your hotel and drive south for approx. 3.5 hours to the village of Pacchanta, the gateway to the Ausangate trail.
08:00 AM
Arrival in Pacchanta & Breakfast: Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast prepared by the locals. This is also your chance to rent a horse if needed.
09:00 AM
Start of the Trek: Begin your hike through high-altitude plains surrounded by snow-capped peaks. You’ll pass seven crystalline lakes, each uniquely beautiful and sacred to local communities.
01:00 PM
Optional Hot Springs: After the hike, you’ll have time to relax in the Pacchanta hot springs (entry not included).
02:30 PM
Traditional Lunch: Refuel with a hearty local lunch before returning to Cusco.

Return to Cusco: Board the transport back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel around 6:30 PM.
